Employee: Robber had socks on hands and took register

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCIV) -- Employees at a Waffle House location in Moncks Corner say a suspect, wearing socks on his hands, said he had a gun and took off with the entire register.

The employee works at the restaurant on North Highway 52. The employee said no one was hurt in the robbery early Thursday morning. Workers say the suspect took off on foot.

That employee tells ABC News 4 that police told workers to lock the door as they went after the suspect. Police have not released official information yet.
