CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Kids and their parents enjoyed a full day of play in downtown Charleston thanks to the Children's Museum of the Lowcountry.
The Fam Jam Festival in Marion Square gave families a chance to have some fun in the park with vendors, jump castles, break dancers, kung fu lessons, and salsa dancing instructions.
There was even a climbing wall available for kids looking to get a a glimpse of the festival from above.
McCown Griffin, the museum's marketing manager, said the festival is all about the power of play.
"Our focus is getting out and moving and having a fun time outside," she said.
The theme of this year's Fam Jam was homegrown family fun with no sugar added. This was the tenth year of the free festival.
