Family gives back to MUSC with stuffed animals, toys

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - Lions, tigers and Teddy bears arrived at MUSC's Children's Hospital on Thursday in memory of 7-month-old Kirby Faith Bradley, who passed away last month.

Her parents delivered a truckload of stuffed animals and toys, bringing smiles to the faces of children in the hospital.

Bradley's parents said it was a way for them to give a little back to the hospital.

"It is just an overwhelming feeling to see the support. You don't know how many people are following you or how many care about you as much until something like this really happens. To see the magnitude of what they've done is just amazing," said Josh Bradley.

"This is the first time back in a month for us and we were here for seven months. So we knew it would be a hard day, but it is exciting as well. We are so excited to be able to give back to the community finally because so many people have given so much to us for so long," said Ashley Bradley.

People in their hometown of Gaffney collected the toys.{}
