Feds highlight financial crimes task force in SC
GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Federal authorities are drawing attention to recent successes of a task force put together to fight financial crimes in South Carolina's Upstate.
U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles is in Greenville on Wednesday for a news conference to talk about a task force his office formed, with participation from the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.
Officials say the South Carolina Upstate Financial Crimes Task Force has been able to successfully prosecute white collar crime cases like identity theft and bank fraud, thanks to help from local law enforcement agencies.
