CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Young people in the Charleston area have a chance to get some free financial advice.
On Saturday, Family Services, Inc. is scheduled to host a youth financial education summit called Money Rocks at Charleston Southern University.
Organizers say nearly 300 people have pre-registered for the free, daylong workshops geared toward people ages 12 to 21 years old.
Discussion topics include budgeting, saving, proper credit card use and financial aid. There will also be information about job interview skills and social media etiquette.
