Fire museum now free to active duty military
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- Active duty military are getting free admission to the fire museum in North Charleston this summer.
Beginning Monday and continuing through Labor Day, active duty military and their families can get in free to the North Charleston and American LaFrance Fire Museum.
The museum has affiliated with Blue Star Museums.
Blue Star Museums are a collaboration between the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Defense Department and about 2,000 museums across the nation.
