Follypalooza helps raise money for cancer patients
FOLLY BEACH, S.C. (WCIV) -- The annual Folly Beach event that helps raise money for local cancer patients was in full swing this weekend.In the last five years, Follypalooza has raised more than $25,000 to help those battling cancer and those who survived it. "Follypalooza has been a very rewarding event for not only the individuals that it helps but also to the organizers and the Folly Beach community who have made it successful so far," said DJ Rich, president of Follypalooza and co-owner of Planet Follywood. The event took place on Center Street on Saturday. It featured live music, jump castles, bungee jousting, food, vendors and more.Admission to the event was free, and tickets for games and other activities was sold along Center Street.
