For second time, Myrtle Manor sign stolen
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - As the reality show "Welcome to Myrtle Manor" prepares to shoot a third season, one thing is sure - the sign outside the mobile home park where it is filmed is a hit with thieves.
The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reports (http://bit.ly/1sbOVMg ) that for the second time in two years, thieves have stolen the sign outside Patrick's Mobile Home Park that proclaims it the place where the TLC network show is filmed.
Barbara Patrick, the owner of the park, says the $250 sign was stolen for a second time on Tuesday. It was also stolen in March of last year, just after the series premiered.
The show had its highest viewership last January when an episode drew 1.3 million viewers. Filming for a third season begins later this month.
