NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Shortly before 3 p.m. a bomb threat was called in to the Charleston County 911 dispatch center. The call was in reference to a claim there was a bomb at Fort Dorchester High School.
Officials at the dispatch center immediately called the school and spoke with a principal, who ordered an immediate evacuation of the school.
Dorchester District 2 spokesperson Patt Raynor said police had completed a search by 4:30 p.m. According to Raynor, nothing was found.
