CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston police have arrested a man accused of getting a 12-year-old girl drunk and raping her.
According to an affidavit, the suspect, Joseph Stone Bailey, assaulted the girl back in November 2012.
The victim told police she was at a home on Camp Road with the then 16-year-old suspect who gave her Four Locos to drink. Court documents say the girl was so drunk, she could not walk on her own, let alone try to leave.
It was in that state that the victim says the suspect had sex with her, despite her telling him to stop. She told police that she was "never physically capable" of pushing him off of her because of her level of intoxication.
Bailey, now 17, is charged with criminal sexual conduct in the second degree.
