Georgetown teacher arrested, charged with inappropriately texting student

{}PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) - Georgetown Countydeputies arrested a 22-year-old teacher for sending inappropriate texts to astudent at Waccamaw High School.

According to deputies, a female student at the school toldthe principal that she and a male teacher were communicating via text messages.The school's resource officer was notified of the issue and, in turn, called inother investigators.

As a result of the investigation, a warrant was issued forWilliam Christopher Wall's arrest.

Wall turned himself in to police on Nov. 6 and arrested onone count of unlawful use of a telephone.

The release did not say what messages were allegedly exchangedbetween the student and Wall.
