'Get Wild!' about parks and rec

CHARELSTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- The Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission wants you to "Get Wild!" this month.

Since 1985, America has celebrated July as the nation's official Park and Recreation Month. This July, the Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission hopes you get wild about it.

As a part of the month-long celebration, the commission is hosting several special programs -- everything from workouts and wellness to the chance to get wet and wild at local water parks.
