"Get Your Pink On" for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

      CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV)-- October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and folks across the Lowcountry are showing their support by sporting bright pink hair extensions.{}

      Roper St. Francis is offering the pink extensions for $7, with all proceeds benefiting the Roper St. Francis Hospital's Cancer Care programs.{}{}

      You can get your fashionable extension at The Healing Boutique on the Bon Secours campus of Roper{}St. Francis. Licensed cosmetologists will even position the extension in your hair for you.{}

      Jeanette Kiminsky, a licensed cosmetologist, says she enjoys helping a greater cause.{}

      "Cancer is very expensive and they can really use the money to help with their treatments," Jeanette explained.{} "We can do whatever we can."{}
