Goose Creek woman facing charges of illegal gaming

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCIV) -- A Goose Creek woman is facing charges of illegal gaming after authorities found dozens of gambling computers at two businesses.

Charleston County sheriff's deputies served search warrants Tuesday at LT Cafe, 9581 Suite B Highway 78, and Golden Dragon Asian and American Buffet, Suite F, Highway 78 in Ladson. A search warrant was also served at 115 Deerfield Drive in Goose Creek.

Lisa Tang is charged with three counts of keeping of gaming machines and one count of unlawful betting.

A news release from the Charleston County Sheriff's Office said investigators seized 30 video gambling computers and some money.

Four at the business locations were ticketed for unlawful betting, investigators said.

Tang was arrested and released on a $40,000 personal recognizance bond Tuesday.
