SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) -- GPS tracking led police to the door of a Lincolnville man they have charged with burglary.
According to Summerville police, Tony Clay Johnson Jr. was charged with four nighttime burglaries in which the victims were home sleeping at the time of the burglaries.
In the last incident, police said the victim was able to give police GPS coordinates of his stolen electronics. Police used that information to lead tem to a Bell Drive home in Lincolnville.
When police executed the search warrant at the home, they found items that had been reported stolen in the four burglaries, the report states. As a result, Johnson was charged with four counts of first-degree burglary.
A bond hearing has not been scheduled, officials said.
Police are still investigating the incident.
