      Hanahan Middle School wins $10,000 recycling prize

      HANAHAN, S.C. (WCIV) - Science students at Hanahan Middle School are the winners of a $10,000 prize for their recycling campaign.The school launched the Caps for a Cause project along with a video to take the top prize. The project aims to use bottle caps to make usable products. The $10,000 prize was awarded for winning the regional round of the Lexus Eco Challenge. Hanahan Middle has won the national title for three consecutive years and is looking to win this year's $30,000 national prize.
