      Hanahan vs Goose Creek: No ordinary rivalry

      By Tessa Spencertspencer@abcnews4.com

      MOUNT PLEASANT, S. C. (WCIV)- The rivalry between Hanahan and Goose Creek high schools doesn't involve the gridiron or the basketball court. Instead, it's a battle of video cameras and creativity.

      The two schools are going head-to-head in a race to win best video promoting ABC News 4's "Good Morning Charleston."

      Groups from both Berkeley county schools visited{}the television station recording video and sound from{}anchors Laura Harris and Jon Bruce.

      Hanahan High student Katelin Mercaldo chose to go with what she calls a more "Charlestoney feel" to her{}video. She felt that she was able to catch the "fun-ness" of the city. Her video showcased some of the city's top locations like the Market, The Battery and Fort Sumter.

      On the other side, Goose Creek High{}chose to show more of the anchors working while also capturing them just being themselves. Group spokesperson Elizabeth White says,"We actually were mainly in the actual news place... seeing all they do. I think we had the advantage of that."{}

      Both groups used word-of-mouth, Facebook, Twitter and emails to help gain votes for their respective videos.

      There's still time to vote. The winning video promo{}will be shown on ABC News 4.
