Hope springs eternal at Bachelor casting call in Mt. Pleasant

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) -- More than a hundred hopeful romantics made their way through Cinebarre in Mount Pleasant as the first steps of making it on a season of ABC's "The Bachelor."

At an event hosted by ABC News 4 and Cinebarre, single men and women posed for photos and went through an interview for casting directors who were looking for members for the 19th season of "The Bachelor."

What's it take to be picked?

Well, casting directors say it takes women and men who are stylish, charming, and full of charisma.

The staff at Cinebarre and ABC News 4 enjoyed hosting the event, too.

"It's a lot of fun for us at Cinebarre to see the girls come in and go place to place and show off their personality," said Katie Clayton, one of the event organizers.

The next step for the lucky men and women who advance will include call-backs and further interviews.
