2nd man charged in James Island armed robberies

JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) -- A second man has been charged with two armed robberies on James Island that happened in March.According to police, 31-year-old Antonio Orlando Simmons with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. Earlier this week, 24-year-old Feraud DaShaun Lemon was charged with two counts of armed robbery for the crimes at a Maybank Highway shopping center on March 23.{}In the first robbery at a CVS store, two men entered the store and demanded cash from the register. One of the men had a gun.{}In the second robbery, the two men went to nearby Barbaritos Southwestern Grille and demanded more money.Police said the investigation is ongoing. Both men are being held at the Al Cannon Detention Center.
