      Johns Island man charged in roommate's stabbing

      JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) -- A Johns Island man was charged Saturday with stabbing his roommate at their home.

      According to Charleston County deputies, 41-year-old Juan De Dios Ramos was charged with assault of a high and aggravated nature and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

      His bond was set at $60,000.

      When deputies arrived at the Abbapoola Road home, they found Ramos' roommate suffering from a knife wound. EMS took the man to a nearby hospital and the deputy went in search of Ramos, according to a report.

      He was found walking along Abbapoola Road, deputies said. He reportedly had blood on his pants and hands.

      He is being held in the Charleston County Detention Center.
