Lanes to close by Charleston airport's terminal
CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- Officials are closing four of the eight traffic lanes that run in front of the Charleston International Airport terminal building.
The lanes will be closed for two weeks starting Monday as construction continues for a new rental car pavilion at the airport.
The lanes that are being closed are the four closest to the terminal. Airport officials say pickup, drop off, valet and taxi service will continue from the four outside lanes.
Officials are warning of delays during the next two weeks.
The construction is part of the airport's two-year plan to improve its ticketing, security, baggage claim and other areas.
