The 9th Annual Charleston Dog Show took over Marion Square Saturday afternoon.
Like every year, there were contests for dogs of every kind plus, dog-specific vendors.
Organizers say the show brings Charleston's dog community together to get to know one another. "There is a lot of educational opportunities. It is a good thing for people to network and have a good time talking with other vets that can maybe give them another opinion," said Diana Williams, manager of the Charleston dog show.
The money raised from the event goes to help local dog rescues.
