Lowcountry prosecutor collecting Toys For Tots
BEAUFORT, S.C. (AP) - Prosecutors in the Lowcountry are collecting toys to give to needy families this holiday season.
Solicitor Duffie Stone says people can drop off new, unwrapped toys at any of his offices in Bluffton, Hampton, Ridgeland and Walterboro.
The donations are part of a Toys For Tots drive, and people can contribute weekdays from now through Dec. 13.
Last year, Stone says people donated about 500 toys at his offices.Copyright 2013 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.
