SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) -- Gamers of all ages participated in the Lowcountry's first 'Storm-Con' event on Saturday.
The event featured about a dozen different role play games.
Organizers said the event is about creating a sense of community and providing an opportunity for face-to-face interaction in a time of video games and online gaming.
Organizers also raffled off a variety of prizes and is donating a portion of the proceeds to Camp Happy Days.
The event continues through the weekend at the Holiday Inn in Summerville.
It begins on Sunday at 8 a.m. and lasts until 6 p.m.
