Man, 62, on bike killed on Folly Road early Sunday

JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) -- A man riding his bike early Sunday morning on Folly Road was hit and killed by a car.

According to the Charleston County Coroner's Office, 62-year-old Charlie Goss died from injuries he sustained after being hit by a car.

Charleston police officials said the accident happened near George Griffith Boulevard. Police say Goss was traveling north in a southbound lane when he was hit by the car.

Police said the driver of the car was not going to be charged in the accident.
