GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCIV) - Georgetown County deputies arrested one man after a teen girl came forward and alleged he raped her repeatedly during a four-month period last year.
According to an incident report filed Jan. 9, 24-year-old Christian Baker was arrested and charged with four counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
The report stated the 14-year-old victim reported the sexual assaults began during summer break after she moved in with one of her family members. Baker knew the teen and the teen's family member and, according to deputies, all of the incidents happened in the home where the teen was staying.
The girl said the 24-year-old forced her onto her bed and assaulted her, threatening her into silence, according to the report.
The teen told officers the assaults happened half a dozen times during the summer.
The teen was set up with assistance at the children's recovery center.
Baker's bond was set at $20,000.
