Bond set at $450,000 for man accused in club shooting

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston County deputies have arrested a man they believe is behind the double shooting at George's Club in Hollywood.

Authorities said 24-year-old Davon Williams is charged in connection with the shooting that happened at Ham Grants (George's Club) on Scott White Road last week.

Williams' bond was set at $450,000 in a hearing Tuesday.

Williams was taken into custody during a traffic stop in front on Savannah Highway Monday afternoon.

The shooting happened after the club owner tried to stop a fight and ended up shot in the elbow. Another person was also shot in the abdomen. Both victims are expected to recover.

Williams is charged with attempted murder, assault and battery in the first degree and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
