NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A man released on bond after facing drug charges was arrested on Thursday and faces additional drug charges, said officials with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office. Antonio Myers, 30, was arrested on June 21 after being charged with trafficking marijuana and malicious injury to property. Officials said Myers accepted a package containing 33 pounds of marijuana during a controlled drug delivery. After retrieving the package, officials say Myers put the package into his vehicle and tried to leave the locations. Deputies attempted to stop Myers and he rammed into a detective's vehicle.Myers was released on a $40,000 bond.After further investigation, Myers was arrested on Thursday on additional charges of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature,and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance within 1/2 mile proximity of a school.
