      Man found dead in car in Myrtle Beach

      MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - Myrtle Beach police are investigating the death of a man found with a gunshot wound in a car in a motel parking lot.

      Police were called to the scene shortly before 9 a.m. Monday after they received a call from someone who said they had seen the body in the care.

      The car, with North Carolina license plates, was found in the overflow parking lot for a motel on 9th Ave. South. Police said there was no gun in the car.

      The coroner is not releasing the name of the victim until relatives are notified.
