      Man shot in back on Harris St.

      CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A Charleston City Police officer was on patrol Monday evening when he heard 8-10 gunshots and found a man shot in the back, according to reports.

      The officer said when he went towards the sound of the gunfire, he saw a group of "several black males" running away towards Morrison Drive and heard the victim screaming "They shot me!"

      The officer found the victim with a gunshot wound to his upper back and had him transported to MUSC.
