Man wounded in North Charleston shooting

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A 21-year-old man was wounded in a shooting Monday evening in North Charleston.

According to North Charleston police, the incident happened on East Montague Avenue around 5:36 p.m.{}

When officers arrived, they found a 21-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to his right forearm and right side of his abdomen. Officers did not say how many times the man was hit.{}

The man was taken to Medical University Hospital for treatment.{}

Police say they have no information on a suspect or motive, but have several potential witnesses lined up to be interviewed.{}

According to a report from NCPD, the victim refused to say who shot him or where the shooting took place.
