SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) -- Family and friends of four people killed in an unsolved shooting at a Spartanburg County motorcycle shop are gathering to remember the victims on the 10th anniversary of the crime.
The memorial will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Cleveland Park in Spartanburg.
One of the speakers at the event will be 9-year-old Scotty Ponder. He wasn't born yet when his father was gunned down in the Superbike Motorsports store he owned and built in Chesnee on Nov. 6, 2003.
Along with Scott Ponder, the gunman also killed Ponder's stepmother and store bookkeeper Beverly Guy, store manager Brian Lucas and mechanic Chris Sherbert.
Investigators think a disgruntled customer killed the four, but they have never named a suspect.
