      Memorial funds and fundraising event planned for two murdered women

      MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCIV) -{}Memorial funds and a fundraising event have been set up{}to assist the families of the two woman who went missing Sunday night and were found dead by investigators.

      The June Guerry Memorial Fund was set up at the Wells Fargo in Moncks Corner. Anyone who wishes to donate can visit any Charleston area Wells Fargo branch.

      A fund for Dana Woods{}was{}set up Thursday afternoon{}at{}First Federal bank.{}You can donate at any area First Federal branch.

      A fundraising event has been scheduled for Saturday September 1 at the Moncks Corner Piggly Wiggly to assist the families of both June Guerry and Dana Woods.{} The event will be held in the Piggly Wiggly parking lot at 100 West Main Street in Moncks Corner from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

      The fundraiser is not affiliated with Piggly Wiggly, but the store has offered the use of its parking lot for the event.

      22-year-old June Guerry and 18-year-old Dana Woods were last seen Sunday night. Investigators say Dana Woods' car was found burned in the Francis Marion Forest Tuesday. Dana Woods' body was found near the burned car according to Berkeley County Sheriff's Office officials.

      Coroner Bill Salisbury is "pretty confident" a body found in Alvin Wednesday night is June Guerry.{}Salisbury{}says a{}Thursday autopsy at MUSC will confirm it is Guerry's body.
