More charges may be in the works against ReVille

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - After filing a civil suit against Pinewood Preparatory School in the Louis "Skip" ReVille case, the alleged victim is now seeking criminal charges against ReVille.

Bill Nixon is representing the victim and says he's helping his client go through the criminal procedure in Dorchester County. ReVille taught at Pinewood Prep between 2002 and 2006.

After ReVille was arrested in October, many alleged victims had remained silent, but attorneys say ReVille himself is breaking that silence.

"What's a little bit unique about our client and a lot of these victims of Skip ReVille are that Mr. ReVille started indicating and notifying law enforcement of other victims that he had sexually molested over the years," Nixon said. "In doing so law enforcement was going out and actually contacting those victims and families of those victims and notifying them that they had been named as a potential victim. That's what happened with our client in this case."

Motley Rice attorney's announced the civil lawsuit against Pinewood Prep last week. Now, Nixon is helping the victim get through the criminal side of it, which is expected to lead to more charges against ReVille.

"Now that people are coming out and coming forward and disclosing what happened, through the help of law enforcement, we will be able to get a full picture of what went on and who was responsible for some of the things that were allowed to go on," Nixon said.

ReVille is currently being held in jail on more than $1 million in bond.

A suit was also filed against The Citadel, where ReVille was a summer camp counselor between 2001 and 2003.
