      Mount Pleasant teen arrested in Charlotte

      CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WCIV) -- A Mount Pleasant teen was arrested in Charlotte, N.C., over the weekend by U.S. Marshals and local police.{}

      According to Mount Pleasant police, 18-year-old{}Calvin Malone Vanderhorst was arrested. Police say he was a wanted fugitive for a Jan. 21 armed robbery on Babington Way.{}

      There were three warrants out for Vanderhorst's arrest for armed robbery. Police considered him armed and dangerous.{}

      He was arrested without incident, police said.{}

      Vanderhorst was also arrested in June for an armed robbery at a Bank of America ATM. He was out on bond for that crime at the time of the Jan. 21 robbery.
