      Mt. Pleasant gas station robbed at midnight

      MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) -- Two men robbed a Mount Pleasant gas station early Monday morning. According to Mt. Pleasant police, the incident happened at 1401 Joe Rouse Road at the Kangaroo Express near Park West.

      Officials say just before midnight, two males wearing masks or hoodies walked up to the cashier and pulled out a handgun demanding money.

      The two suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police say the men fled by foot into a wooded area. Searches for the men have come up empty as of yet.

      The first suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male{} between 5'05" and 5'08", wearing a green baseball cap, green jacket, black undershirt, blue jeans dark tennis shoes and had a white cloth covering his face.

      The second suspect is described as having the same physical attributes but was wearing a black ski mask, blank tank top, blue jeans, dark Converse Chuck Taylor shoes and rubber gloves.
