      Multiple crashes leave drivers dead

      GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) - A crash on Thursday night and another early Friday morning left two drivers dead. The S.C. Highway Patrol says the first crash happened around 9:30 p.m. Officials say the driver of a 2002 Dodge truck ran off SC 210. The truck hit a tree. The driver, who was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, was taken to Palmetto Ridgeland Hospital and was declared dead. An SCHP spokesperson says another deadly crash occurred just after midnight in Georgetown County. Officials say the driver of a 1994 Nissan 300 ran off Wesley Road early Friday{} morning. The driver was killed. A passenger was taken to Grand Strand Hospital. Both the driver and passenger were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. A coroner in each county will identify the victims.
