Murder suspect accused of cutting ankle monitor returned to Charleston

CHARLESTON, S.C.(WCIV) - The murder suspect who was accused of removing his ankle monitor andfleeing to Atlantawas returned to Charleston County Wednesday evening, officials said.

According to the Charleston County Sheriff's Department,Travaris Walker was extradited back to Charleston Countyand housed in the Al Cannon Detention Center.

Walker fled Charlestonon Oct. 20 and was found in an Atlantasuburb on Oct. 26, officials said.

Walkerhas been charged with the Dec. 19, 2011, murder of Marquis Richardson.

Walkerwill face a Circuit Court Judge as soon as next week.
