Murder suspect extradited to Berkeley County, held without bond
BERKELEY, S.C. (WCIV) -- Three weeks after his arrest in California, murder suspect Stephon Johnson is in custody in Berkeley County.
According to officials with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office, Johnson faces multiple charges from Goose Creek police.
William Kuhn, 40, was found murdered in Dogwood Park on September 18. Kuhn's body was found by two teens. An autopsy revealed his cause of death was a single gunshot wound to the head.
On October 23, Goose Creek Police officials said they were told that the U.S. Marshals Service took Johnson into custody in Lancaster, Calif.
Johnson was given a $40,000 bond for a weapons charge, $20,000 for a grand larceny charge and no bond for the murder charge.
