Murder suspect out of hospital, hearing slated for 5:30 p.m.

CLARENDON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) -- The man accused of killing three women in South Carolina has been scheduled again to appear in court on a preliminary hearing on murder charges.

Jeffrey Eady was supposed to have the hearing Monday evening, but jail officials said Eady slit his wrists and the hearing had to be postponed while Eady was taken to a nearby hospital.

Officials say Eady is out of the hospital and will be back in bond court at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Officials have not said what Eady used to cut himself on Monday.

Eady was{}wanted in connection to three homicides in South Carolina -- two in Clarendon County and one in Charleston County -- and was arrested Saturday by Florida deputies and U.S. Marshals.

Sunday, he was extradited back to South Carolina.{}
