CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Police say the man accused of killing another man in downtown Charleston last month has been returned to Charleston after he fled to Alabama.
According to Charleston police, 17-year-old Terrell Smith is charged with murder, attempted murder, first-degree burglary and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
Police say Smith killed another man during a robbery on Congress Street on June 11.
Members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force captured Smith on June 16th. He is scheduled to have a bond hearing at 2 p.m. on July 3.
The investigation is ongoing.
