New antiques store opens in Park Circle


NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Just at{} the tip of the Old Village there's a new place to find old things.The Park Circle Antiques Mall is taking over the space that used to hold the Village Hall banquet facility on East Montague.Antique collectors will be able to peruse 19 booths of art, antiques, jewelry and furniture.There will also be a spot for lunch on site. The Village Cafe will have a space inside as well as a drive-up window featuring salads, sandwiches and drinks."We are very excited to see additional retail operations coming to the Olde Village in Park Circle," said North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey. "We have already seen a great interest in antiques through participation and attendance of the City's hosted bi-monthly Village Antiques and Collectibles Show.{} Park Circle Antiques Mall will attract more frequent shoppers from miles around and will add diversity to the locally-owned small businesses that are currently in the area." The official opening of the antique mall is scheduled for Thursday, August 1 at 10 a.m.The store will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.
