New hope for credit card complainers
MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV)--Have a complaint about a credit card?
Federal financial regulators have launched a new website that will make it easier for consumers to lodge heir gripes.
The new site, www.finance.gov/complaindatabase, is a one-stop shop for Americans to voice their displeasure with rate increases, collection problems, harassment and identity theft.
Consumers will also be able to search what types of complaints have been filed against any banks that issue credit cards.
They can also search complaints by zip code and how banks respond to customer problems.
