MIAMI (AP/WCIV) -- A new tropical storm has formed in the eastern Atlantic.
Tropical Storm Dorian's maximum sustained winds Wednesday are near 50 mph. The U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami says there are no coastal watched or warnings associated with Dorian.
The storm is centered about 410 miles west-southwest of the Cape Verde Islands, off the coast of west Africa, and is moving west-northwest near 21 mph.
Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 45 miles from the center of the storm.
