No leads in Orangeburg hit-and-run that hospitalized woman

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WCIV) - Highway Patrol officials are looking for the driver of a tractor trailer who hit a woman's car, sending it off the interstate and then drove away.

According to officials, the accident happened on Jan. 29 on Interstate 26 near the city of Orangeburg. Officials said a tractor trailer rear-ended a Honda Accord and pushed it off the interstate and into a tree.

The passenger in the car shattered her arm and broke her back in two places in the accident. She's reportedly been at Medical University Hospital in Charleston since the accident.

No one has any information on the truck driver who hit the car.

South Carolina Highway Patrol Troop 7 is investigating, but have no leads so far.
