      No one injured in small fire in downtown Charleston

      CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- No one was injured in a small fire that broke out in downtown Charleston Friday night, said officials with the Charleston Fire Department.

      Officials said units responded to a structure fire on Porters Court, just off of Bogard Street, at about 11:25 p.m.

      Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the small fire in the wall of the home, officials said.

      They were on scene for about 30 minutes.

      Officials said one person and a dog were in the home at the time of the fire but were not harmed.
