Police: Gunshot victim found in car has died

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - North Charleston police say officers Monday night found a man wounded by gunfire sitting in a car. The man died a short time later, police said.

According to officials, the man was found in a car sitting near the intersection of Nesbit Avenue and Lester Street.

Police did not have any information on the suspect.

The coroner's office identified the man as 24-year-old Donald Brown, of North Charleston.
