Police: Robbery suspect confesses to 2nd bank robbery

      NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A Summerville man was arrested Friday night in connection to a bank robbery in North Charleston earlier in the day. Now police say the suspect confessed to a second bank robbery.According to police, 38-year-old Brett Alan Brown was arrested by North Charleston police at the Relax Inn on Ashley Phosphate Road. Police say he was connected to the robbery of the Bank of America on Core Drive that was robbed around 1 p.m. Police described the suspect as a white man who demanded money.Police say the man ran from the bank and got into a red car with a number of bumper stickers on the back. That car was later found on Marson Street, but witnesses said the man inside the car got into a gray vehicle driven by a black man.Brown has been charged with bank robbery. His bond was set at $25,000 for the North Charleston robbery.During interrogation, Brown confessed to officers that he was also the man who robbed the BB&T in Summerville.{}
