CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Police have arrested or plan to arrest a total of eight suspects after they said a brawl broke out Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Bridgeview Village Apartments on North Romney Street.

All of the suspects face charges of disorderly conduct, officials said.

A Charleston Police officer is also the subject of an internal investigation as a result of the incident.

Police began investigating after they attained a video of the brawl posted on YouTube, according to a police report.

According to police, the eight suspects include Briana Smalls of Charleston, Crystal Jones of North Charleston, Shaniqua Dennis of North Charleston, Antione Simmons of Charleston, Rodneisha Konovia of North Charleston, Kiashia Coleman of Charleston, Latoya Wilder of Charleston and Davontae Wilder of Charleston.

In the YouTube video, Officer John Nacy can be seen trying to end the fight and keep the peace. In the video, he used profanity and told the women if they wanted to fight, they'd have to fight him.

Fists started flying after he said that.

Nacy was working an off-duty security job at the apartment complex, officials said. He is now the subject of an internal investigation related to the brawl.
