Orangeburg robbery suspect to have bond hearing Monday
ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WCIV) -- A 20-year-old man was arrested and charged in an Oct. 6 robbery in Orangeburg.
According to the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office, Calvon Reginald Steven Brown was armed with a knife when he stole money, a cell phone, and an ATM card from the 18-year-old victim.
"Brown was captured on video surveillance at a convenience store near the location of the attack. Brown fled to Washington, D.C. after committing the crime and was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force," said Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell.
Brown was charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
A bond hearing for Brown will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday.
